Pacific Surfliner pricing is dynamic, but the basics never change: one straight-forward coach fare, optional Business Class upgrades, plus a stack of year-round discounts. Use the chart and tips below to estimate your trip and save.
How Ticket Prices Work
- Saver / Value / Flexible: Three fare buckets. Saver sells out first; Flexible lets you refund with no fee up to departure.
- Business Class: Add ≈ $20–$30 to coach; seat guarantee, complimentary drink, extra leg-room.
- Variable demand: Prices rise as the train fills; book early for the lowest tier.

Extra Savings for Riders with Disabilities

Fare & Ticketing FAQ
Can I refund or change my ticket?
Saver and Value tickets can be cancelled for a 10% fee up to 24 hours before departure. Flexible coach and Business Class are fully refundable until the train leaves.
Do discount codes stack?
No. Choose the best single promo; California Everyday discounts can't be combined with other offers.
Is there a rail pass?
Try the multi-ride 10-trip ticket (valid 60 days) or monthly passes for commuters—both offer ~30% savings versus single rides.
